Combining Art and Design to Create Inspiring Work Environments
At Groupe Focus, art and design are not simple aesthetic elements; they define our identity and shape our approach to workspace planning. We believe that well-thought-out environments inspire, stimulate creativity, and improve well-being.
We incorporate various forms of art into our projects, whether that means collaborating with artists, cultural initiatives, or highlighting Quebec design. Today, we are showcasing this commitment; the reflection of our passion for spaces that bring together functionality, innovation, and artistic expression.

Alter Ego (Groupe CNW/Fondation du MAC)
Our Involvement with Les Printemps du MAC
Our director, Philippe Lemieux, is actively involved in the committee for the Printemps du MAC 2025, an important philanthropic event for the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art. This 17th edition, which will be held on April 11th 2025 at La Nesra, will explore the theme of Alter Ego, celebrating the identity and diversity of artistic expressions.
Philippe’s involvement illustrates his desire to support local culture and strengthen the ties between design, architecture, and real estate contributors. Through his involvement in the Printemps du MAC, he is actively contributing to showcasing contemporary art and supporting the next generation of artists.

Transforming our Spaces into Art Galleries
Art is at the heart of the spaces we design here at Groupe Focus. In October 2024, we transformed our head office in Varennes into an art gallery for a night in order to host the vernissage of painter Chalin – Chantale Dumoulin. Her exposition, Inspiration du Moment, brought together clients, partners, and employees around art and creativity. We are proud to have been able to showcase the work of this talented artist who also created our 2024 Christmas card, a gesture that reflects our commitment to supporting local artists.
Inspiring Artistic Collaborations
We have the privilege of collaborating with talented artists and designers who share our vision of aestheticism and innovation. These partners enrich our projects by bringing a unique artistic touch. Among them:
- Marc Archambault designer at VAD, who is also a painter known for his dynamic and emotional impressionist style. In fact, one of his paintings is proudly displayed in our offices.
- Marie-Chantal Milette from Kryptonie, expert in colour psychology, with whom we have had the pleasure of exploring the importance of colours in workspaces.
- Alain Roy, from Rouillard, a key partner in our commitment towards Quebec design. His office furniture, designed and manufactured in Quebec, brings together functionality, aestheticism, and innovation.

Art, a Driver of Unicity and Creativity
Art has the power to bring people together and build team spirit. During the celebration of Groupe Focus’s 30 years in business, our team had the opportunity to take part in a collective creation under the direction of artist Nathalie Bruggeman and with the collaboration of Galerie d’Art Urbania. This collaborative project not only left a unique artistic mark of this anniversary, but also strengthened our team’s cohesion and enterprise culture.

An Artistic Commitment in Constant Evolution
Art is a strong driver of innovation and connection that enriches our work environments. We are determined to continue our support of local artists and designers by integrating art into our spaces and activities.
Through our collaborations and cultural involvement, we are continuing to build inspiring environments where creativity and artistic expression hold an essential place.
Join us in celebrating art in every form next April 11th at Les Printemps du MAC!
