Groupe Focus Receives the Healthy Enterprise Recognition!

We are thrilled to announce that Groupe Focus recently received the Healthy Enterprise recognition, an acknowledgement that highlights our commitment towards the health and wellbeing of our employees. This is an important moment in our continued efforts to create a healthy and fulfilling work environment.

 

What is the Healthy Enterprise standard?

It is a voluntary approach based on prevention, promotion, and organizational practices that aim to improve and maintain employee wellbeing at work. The enterprises that wish to become certified must be active in 4 areas of activity recognized to have an impact on the health and wellbeing of employees: lifestyle habits, work environment, work-life balance, and management practices.

 

How does Groupe focus put this into practice?

At Groupe Focus, our commitment towards the health and wellbeing of our employees is demonstrated through concrete actions and well-thought-out initiatives. We believe that by prioritizing a healthy work environment, we are not only reinforcing workplace satisfaction and productivity, but also building a strong and sustainable culture. Together, we continue to move forward towards a future where health and the improvement of wellbeing at work are of the utmost importance.

1.Health and Wellbeing Policy

Within the framework of our commitment, we have established a health and wellbeing policy which includes a 250$ allocation for each employee. We call it the “wellbeing account”, and it is an extension of the group insurance already in place.

This initiative aims to support the personal wellbeing of our collaborators by allowing them to access resources to help improve and maintain their physical and mental health. This is all flexible in order to adapt to the needs and preferences of each employee. Several types of expenses are covered: gym membership, purchase or lease of exercise equipment, meditation classes, spa entry fees, and much more.

2. Health and Wellbeing Committee

The Health and Wellbeing Committee plays a crucial role in our approach to promoting health in the workplace. Made up of members from each department, it ensures a balanced representation and consideration of the specific needs of each of our enterprise’s sectors of activity. This diversity guarantees that the initiatives put into place are relevant and adapted to our team as a whole.

The committee is in charge of planning, implementing, and following though with the health and wellbeing initiatives. It works to raise awareness and educate the team on the importance of good physical, mental, and social health. By creating a positive work environment, we wish to contribute to the global health of each individual and therefore reduce absenteeism as well as increase engagement and productivity within our enterprise.

3. Use of the INPOWR Application

To help us on this endeavor, we use the INPOWR application. This innovative tool allows us to track and evaluate our employees’ global health while providing them with personalized solutions to help them achieve a better balance. Thanks to INPOWR, we can adapt our wellbeing strategies in real time, ensuring the continuous improvement of our work environment.

Level 2, Here we Come!

Our level 1 certification is only the beginning of our path to excellence in terms of health and wellbeing at work. We are absolutely committed to continuing our efforts in order to reach level 2 of the Healthy Enterprise certification. This higher level requires a deeper and more structured approach, and we are ready to take on this challenge! This progression is testimony of our determination to integrate health and wellbeing into our strategic planning.

We firmly believe that continuous improvement is essential to maintaining a healthy work environment. To do so, we will strengthen our existing initiatives while developing new ones based on the information we collect from our employees and the best practices in the industry.
